INTERESTED IN BOOKING ACCO?

For over 10 years, ACCO has performed at a variety of venues in the region, including arts festivals and community gatherings.  We have brought nationally and internationally renown artists (e.g., Ubaka Hill , Paulo Mattioli) to the area for workshops, drum circles and performances, and work with local poets, artists and musicians to produce unique performances. COME SING WITH US!

Members of ACCO are dedicated and talented women. The chorus typically has one 2 1/2 hour rehearsal each week (Thursdays) during the Fall and Spring performance seasons. Occasional extra rehearsals are scheduled as needed. Women interested in becoming a member of the chorus will need to set up a brief and informal audition. During the audition, your ability to match pitch and sing on key will be assessed. You do not need to formally prepare a piece for the audition, but you do need to be ready to sing a song you already know. And, while it would be an advantage, you do not need to be able to read music to join ACCO. You do, however, need to be enthusiastic and ready to work hard and have fun!
